In Working With Fellow Councilmembers, City Staff, and Citizens
am strong advocate for:
*Maintaining balanced budget and operating the city in a fiscally     responsible manner.
*Diversifying our local economy through economic development and job growth including establishment of a Start-Up/Innovation Center and Shared Workspace to encourage entrepreneurship and jobs creation.
*Work to expand local businesses and attract new businesses to the commercial mix.
*Nurturing our neighborhoods and continue encouragement of home ownership.
*Promoting quality of life and sustainable living.
*Reinforce efforts for further development of Carbondale as the center of commerce, health care, education, transportation, innovation, entertainment and the arts for southern Illinois and region.
